A Special Message from the Author
As the wake of my boat is now much longer than the distance to the horizon, I decided to gather up some writings as part of my legacy for being here. I published these writings in a book “Like Sunlight Falling into Water: Poetics Along the Way to the Horizon” in April of 2019. The book is available on Amazon.com. There is more information about the book as well as a review under the BOOK tab.
In one section of the book are captions I wrote that were inspired by photographs taken by my good friend from Pampa TX, F. Lee Cornelison. The photographs that inspired the captions may be viewed under the “SCENE and UNSEEN” tab.
Although I have not been a prolific writer, I am grateful the Muses visited from time to time along the years. Though thoughts and feelings cannot always be expressed adequately in words, I enjoyed trying to capture and preserve them at various intersections of my own path through life with the world as given. I sincerely hope the time you spend on the site turns out to be worthwhile.
I intend to use this website as a platform for future creative projects. Royalties from book sales will be donated to literacy projects, food pantries, and children’s cultural and educational programs.
