A tinted visage
tricked from air
tempts imagination
beyond the lay
of leaf and shadow
to theorize
the ghostly geometries
of leaves and light.
The art of seeing is the ability to coax the concealed from dimensions hidden amidst the obvious distraction of what is too readily seen.
Prismatic echoes align
in a slant of autumn sun,
descending through
dreamy diffusions
to a pool of melted light.
